Ways to Get at Least 8,000 Steps Daily:

  • Morning Walks: Start your day with a 10-15 minute mindful walk.
  • Work Breaks: Take short walking breaks during work hours. Set a timer to remind yourself.
  • Post-Meal “Outing”: Walk for 10-15 minutes after meals.
  • Park Further Away: Choose parking spots farther from entrances to increase your walking distance.
  • Household Chores: Activities like vacuuming, gardening, and cleaning can add to your step count. (Get it in LOL )
  • Use the Stairs: Opt for stairs over elevators whenever possible.
  • Walk and Talk: Take phone calls while walking around.
  • Active Hobbies: Engage in hobbies that require movement, like dancing or playing with pickleball.
