Midlife is a new beginning; together, we’ll redefine what it means to be fit over 40.

Get ready for Midlife Conversations with Hicunni, where simplicity meets fitness, and your best self awaits!

Why Accountability Matters:

  • Motivation: Challenges create a sense of community and competition that keeps everyone motivated.
  • Consistency: Regular check-ins and updates help maintain a routine and encourage consistent effort.
  • Support: Being part of a group provides support and encouragement, making it easier to overcome obstacles.

SMART Goal for the Pushup Challenge:

  • Specific: Our goal is to complete a pushup challenge. Each participant aims to increase their pushup count by the end of the month. If you want to catch up with what my folks are doing, you will start with today’s date and perform that number of pushups:). You will then, increase from there!
  • Measurable: Track the number of pushups you can do at the beginning, middle, and end of the challenge.
  • Achievable: Set a realistic number of pushups to increase each week based on your current fitness level.
  • Relevant: This challenge is directly tied to improving upper body strength and overall fitness, which are crucial as we age.
  • Time-bound: The challenge will run for the entire month, with weekly check-ins to monitor progress.

How to Host Your Own Challenge:

  • Invite Participants: Get your family, friends, and fitness class involved.
  • Set Clear Goals: Outline what you aim to achieve and how participants can track their progress.
  • Create a Schedule: Plan regular check-ins and updates to keep everyone on track.
  • Provide Support: Encourage participants, share tips, and celebrate milestones together.

By setting SMART goals and creating a supportive environment, we can achieve our fitness objectives and stay motivated. Join us in this pushup challenge, and let’s see how far we can go together!
